Elisabetha smiled gently and curtsied, "It's alright, Lady Cronqvist. Mathias has eased my mind." She says gently, "I just needed a spot of fresh air. I'll be heading back in shortly." Despite Lady Cronqvist's kindness to her, Elisabetha was still mildly intimidated by the Matriarch. Would it be considered curt to head back inside now?

Leon looked down at Sara, his discomfort starting to slowly ease away. "Are you alright, My darling?" He asked quickly

Elisabetha's cheeks flushed a deep crimson. His warm lips on her neck and his voice gentle in her ear. Her body shuddered slightly. It's true that her mind didn't seem to mind thinking about them entwining bodies throughout the day, and she felt incredibly sinful for those thoughts to have occurred during the daytime activities, when the act was something devoted strictly to the nighttime... "M.. Mathias..." She half-gasped just above a whisper "When you are ready, my love, I shall try to please you as you would most like" The flush on her cheeks spread and she found herself shivering slightly at the mere thought. Now she and her beloved husband would soon have the private time in each others arms. She would be lying to herself if she said the thought didn't both excite and terrify her. She had done as God wished and remained as pure of mind and body as she could be. Though difficult at times because her thought seemed to toe to the slightly inappropriate when she saw him passing. All words from the stranger would be pushed aside. Only her and Mathias would fill the world for this night.

Trantoul Manor.
Nightfall.

Ocean blue hues stared at the moon lost in thought as the young noblewoman brushed through her dark chocolate locks; she was thinking back on the days's events. A bit of it was a blur to her and she had trouble raking through her mind for the memories; had she had too much wine? Nonsense. Sara knew when to cease her intake; she rose from her vanity setting her brush down. She was adorned in her ivory long sleeved dress with its simple light blue sash; she slipped out of her chambers and onto the balcony of her bedroom. She gently places her hands on the ledge as her eyes twisted to the stars; her brows knitted together as she reflected on how everyone was after Elisabetha's encounter with that man was. Even Leon seemed to be a little on edge, but he had not explained why. It caused Sara to fret over him and his well being. Had she done something to upset her beloved in anyway? Was it because she had danced with that man. That man, Walter Bernhard. He was a lord who lived beyond this town; towards the borders of Romania. She purses her lips felt a smile grow on her features as her thoughts returned to that of Leon.

Her hand slides over her heart as she recalled him speaking to her father about asking for her hand; she had been horrible tiptoeing towards the foyer where they had been sitting. Her father initially refused Leon's proposal. The notion had nearly broken her heart when she overheard this. Practically had to cover her mouth with her hands to prevent herself from crying out; she had been admiring him for so long. How long had it been? Two and a half years? She had saw him training one day; a midsummer day to be exact. He had been in the fields by a brook adorned in light attire; his blade had struck the wooden dummy repeatedly as the sun had kissed his cheeks in such a manner sweat began trickling down his cheeks. She had been walking her horse down the road; he had paused in his training to catch his breath and that was when he took note of her. Staring. Staring at him. Their eyes had locked for a brief moment; and then he had smiled. His smile so soft and so warm; it set her heart aflame. Ever since that day her heart would beat rapidly whenever she had saw him in passing; and she couldn't get him out of her mind.

But after a few months of constant encountering one another; he came around and began asking to see her. To court her which she had gladly accepted; and within a year she had found herself twirling around her room clutching every letter of love proclamation from him. But with her father's refusal all had seemed lost; but Leon was insisted on being with Sara. And he paid a good sum for her; with his insistence and paying her father. They had become betrothed and Sara was in heaven now eagerly awaiting to be wedded to the love of her life. Sara felt her smile pursed to her lips as she closes her eyes for a moment. Stepping away she began to shake off the sense of nostalgia; the insomnia was setting in as she slips back into her bedroom before crawling into her bed. She could not sleep; she wanted to be in Leon's arms. As she laid there her longing for his embrace grew too strong; she pulls on a cloak before sneaking it out back onto the balcony before climbing over the side ledge descending down the ivy wall. Gently her feet met the soft grass and she wriggled her toes; she had forgotten to get her shoes on. Oh well, glancing back warily she began to make the trek towards the young Baron's estate.

It was a decent walk and the soles of her feet were aching as she approached the backdoor that led into the kitchen; she pushed open the door gently as slipped inside and looks over to a servant who blinked a few times in surprise. She placed  a finger to her lips and smiles to her; they nodded understanding her request for silence. She scurried out of the kitchen before ascending the spiral staircase before heading towards Leon's chambers. She had only ever been inside once; a day when she had been unwell and fainted in his presence, he swept her up into his arms and had carried to his chambers for rest. She approaches his door before knocking on it gently hoping that he had not gone to bed. She rocked on the back of her heels; she knocked on the door once more hoping he would answer it. Hoping he would not turn her away and simply embrace her; no matter how improper it was. She missed him so much even if it was only a few hours of being apart.

~

The stone door swung open as the seer entered the castle; an inaudible but heavy sigh parted from his pale lips as the ebony haired male entered his humble but dark abode. His garnet gems twisted towards the foyer where books were scattered about; the giant chair by the fire place was a dark ebony with crimson cushioning. He stares at it for a long solemn moment; he runs his fingers through his dark ebony lock as he closed his eyes. "That poor lady; I fear that despite my warnings......" He murmurs softly dragging himself over to the foyer; he did not make it to his chair instead he crumbled to his knees. He gripped his head pulling at his locks as he could hear them; their voices, their cries. "Oh god, please lord do not take him from me." "Please spare her, she is just a child. Lord, spare my little girl! She is all that I have left!" "Dear lord in heaven, please do not take my beloved wife. A life without her would lonely." "Do not lose yourself if anything happens to me, please Mathias. Promise me this.". The mortals of this world prayed to a god to spare them of what they feared most. Him. And he wished he could spare them; he wished their pleas and prays would cease in their torment against him. He wished he could was emotionless; he wished he could not feel even an ounce of their sadness.

But unlike their god in which they adored so much who wasn't an ounce merciful; he was forced to merciless. And it pained him so much; he could never be like the mortals or other gods. He would never know what it was like to be admired, adored, or even loved. He despised it. What he would do to know the feelings he longed to know; those dreams of long ago. But never would he be blessed with the being loved and cared for. What he would give to even have a friend. "Oh Lord, you are the cruelest of gods..." He whispers closing his eyes as he wished for ease in his torment; he too wanted to pray for the sweet Elisabetha and the well being of her husband. The things he foreshadowed made him only want to ensure she did not passed within the year. He gripped at his head as he continued to hear them. Tear drops began to trickle down his paled cheeks.

Elisabetha, cheeks flushed as she had assumed they might be, shook her head gently. "Trust me, my love, You could never make me uncomfortable or anything like that." She says gently. She reaches up and runs her thumb over his cheek. She had to try hard to not look away. His beautiful eyes were gentle and full of love. It made her heart flutter uncontrollably.

---------
Leon, having just finished changing into his night clothes, tired from the events of earlier and still unsteady about the odd man who had danced with his beloved Sara just earlier. So when the knock came to his door, It definitely shocked him. He rushed to pull on his robe over him. .Shock rushed over him when he opened his door to see his fiance standing on the other side of the doorway. A bright crimson floods his cheeks "S-SARA..?! What are you doing here? Is everything alright??" He starts to reach out to her, before remembering his manners and composure. They were not yet married, and being too close was unwise and improper. Pulling back suddenly, he says, his breath barely above a whisper, "You're not hurt anywhere, are you?"

Sara steps forward swiftly her arms wrapping around his torso as she buries her face into him. "Leon~" She exclaims using a little bit of force to push him back into his bedroom so that the door close behind them. She broke her embrace to look up at him with her bright cerulean hues glistening happily. "Yes, everything is fine Leon. I was just missing you deeply that is all." she exclaims looking up to him a bright smile; her gaze swept over him he was in night attire. A faint blush fell over her cheeks. How improper. But if they could ensure his servants would not gossip; then there was nothing to worry about. So long as she was back in her bedroom before her father had anyone send for her in the morning all would be well.

~

Blonde locks bounce as the young female descends down the Cronqvist halls; emerald hues twist in search of the young alchemist apprentice. Approaching his door she pushes it open before sneaking inside quickly; the female was a rarity so to speak. Adorned in a dark emerald "dress" that fell to her thighs with light armor glistening over her; high boots adorned her legs as daggers were nestled in their place beneath her leather garter. She smirked at the sight of him; she glides over to the young male huddled at his work desk diving into arts unknown. With a gentle "knock" of the fist to his the back of his head; she spoke. "Aleksander you forgetful man! It was your duty to oversee tonight's watch. Remember?"

Her name was Miriam Raene, Mathias had found her years ago when they were young. She was starving and living in the slumps; he had witnessed her fight another for survival. She had impressed him; and he made her an offer no one would refuse. Climbing through the ranks and standing on equal ground with most men; she was a knight so to speak. She served the Cronqvist clan; protected by them she could be this and not fear persecution of the church and law for being a female fighter. She places a hand to her hip as her eyes twist over the alchemist in training; Mathias's star pupil and probably the most loyal to Mathias aside from herself. Her eyes swept over the foreign context he was reading over; she was fascinated by it and by him. "Aleksander?"

Leon straightened himself with a quick and deliberate cough, "S-Sara... good, good. I'm glad." He said with a slight aversion to his gaze. His slightly flushed face was now a bright crimson, embarrassed to be seen so unkempt. "I must say, I missed you as well, my darling. But was it the most intuitive idea for you to visit so late? And without the aid of an escort at that? We live in a most dangerous world, my love, and I would be devastated if anything happened to you." He said placing his hand gently on her upper arm. He would have to ensure that none of servants would spread word around. Even as innocent as this was, word would skew this meeting if it got out.

--------

Aleksander rubbed his head with a slight grimace etched onto his lips, "Did you have to hit me, Raene? A simple greeting would have more than sufficed..." He turns slightly from his desk to look up at her. His eyes made a quick glance over her face. Despite her being a few years older than he, she was incredibly beautiful. His eyes stopped for a moment over the curve of her cheekbone. He was naturally a bit smitten with her, but unlike his lord, he wouldn't allow feelings of the heart to interfere with his work. He would prove himself to Lord Cronqvist as a talented alchemist and a suitable heir, if Lord Cronqvist would not be blessed with a son. Perhaps, if he impressed the lord enough, he might be able to vy for the Lady Miriam's hand.

Sara's cheeks only flushed even more as her gaze swept downward to the floor now feeling mildly ashamed for sneaking out. She scratches gently at her cheek before looking up to Leon again. "I did not think of that my darling. I am so sorry. I was just missing you so much; and after you came back from checking on Mathias. You seemed more on edge and upset." She whispers softly; she wanted Leon to just embrace her and be with him.

------

Miriam chuckled as she moves some of his books aside to take a seat on the edge of his desk. "It seemed a rather good greeting since you forgot to perform your duty." She replies with a smirk coming to her lips. "So what was soo important that you failed to come to your post?" She inquires leaning forward to take in the context; much to her dismay it was in a language she did not know. Her emeralds twist to meet with those green gems of his; she could get lost within them.

Leon almost chuckled but brought his hand to his lips in his attempt to suppress it. He adored his beloved's little mannerisms and when she was nervous or embarrassed, she would scratch her cheek. He thought it was cute. He adored her so greatly. "Oh my love, I'm so sorry if I worried you. I was having a bit of an... internal conversation, I suppose it can be said?" He reached out and placed his other hand on her other arm, gently pulling him close to her. He knew he had to force himself to be brief in holding her, lest he become unwilling to release her back to open air. Yet, when he pulled her into his arms, he immediately found himself incredibly unwilling to let go.

--------

Aleksander frowned slightly, bringing his eyes back to meet hers."I'm afraid my rules are solid, Lady Raene. I doubt you'd have any interest in mixing herbs and the assorted body parts of small reptiles." He lets out a small smirk, eager to see her reaction, "I'm sure your maiden heart wouldn't be able to handle the ways of an alchemist..." He glanced her over again, "though I suppose if you must know, I was looking into something quite forbidden, and would much more prefer to ensure that you didn't say any of it to Lord Cronqvist."

Sara's frown and concerns washed away as he embraced her and soothed her over with his worry, she buried into him further unwilling to let him go as well. "Leon, may I stay with you tonight? At least until the coming of the dawn?" She whispers softly as she looks up to him; Sara found herself taking hold of his hand and stepping backwards towards his bed. Sitting down she felt the soft warmth of the comforters; she watched as he took a seat beside her. Sara felt her heart racing as she found serenity in his eyes; she leans in connecting their lips together. "I love you Leon~ You make me so happy" Sara scooted closer to her beloved, she places her head gently upon his chest he was so warm she could just stay there in the moment with him.
-------

There came a scoff from the young knight's lips at his mentioning of her "Maiden" heart; she rolls her eyes at his mentions of reptile organs and herbs. She never found much of a problem with alchemy unless it was being used for anything but god; her gaze shifted back to Aleksander. "My Maiden heart can handle much more than you think Aleksander." however at the mention of forbidden arts; her smirk faded away as she looks to him mildly concern what was he doing? She could only hope it was nothing that would bring harm to him or anyone else for that matter. "I promise I will not speak of this to Lord Cronqvist. Aleksander, what are you looking into?" She whispers sliding off the desk and onto the young alchemist's lap. Behind closed doors Miriam could care less about judgement; that was something she never cared for. Was the judgement of others; only god can look into her heart and give the final decree. She however was worried for her dear comrade now. She always found worry for Aleksander; he wanted so badly to be as great as Mathias; to something worthy of praise. Something, no someone he could be proud of. She saw it in his eyes; that hunger. That hunger to rise and be the best. "Aleksander...."

Elisabetha moaned out louder than she had anticipated, bringing her shaking hand to her mouth, trying to stifle the sounds coming from her. Her legs trembled to the foreign feeling between them. Her husband was well versed in these ways, it seemed. Her body shivered, despite the warmth pulsating from her core. If these waves of warmth and Love sreading throughout her were just from her wedding night, she could only imagine his... passion... when they would be trying for children.

--
Leon's face flushed red at her forwardness. He loved every inch of her, and he would anxiously await for the day their union could occur. As odd and forward as it sounded, Leon was already thinking about creating his own words to say to her on that day. He was afraid to accept her offer, since he was sure that if he did, both of them would end up falling asleep in each other's arms. "I love you too, my beloved Sara. I can't wait to spend our lives together. I want nothing more than to make you happy for the rest of our lives." He says quietly, running his hand gently through her sienna locks, twirling the tip of her hair around his index finger a little bit, "I know I should refuse and dress to escort you home, my love. But I'm sure as long as we don't fall asleep, we can stay like this until dawn. The night is still young, my love, we must be careful not to tire at each other's side"

-------
Aleksander's face flushed slightly when she slid onto him. His attraction made it difficult to focus, but he strained to hear her and focus on her question. "Miriam, you must promise to not condemn at my words. I know you care as much as I do about the pursuit of knowledge in all things, so I know I can trust you with this secret. I am seeking a way to ensure the safety of our knights and Lords if they should be called to the wars. A way to survive the lash of swords and the pierce of arrows. A way to survive even the most fatal of wounds." With the words he said, his eyes lit up with the idea of the possibilities of the skills he could learn. If he could master these methods, he could impress his Lord with these skills and prove himself as an alchemist.

Sara closes her eyes as she began to listen to his heartbeat; whilst this midnight encounter between them was scandalous. She knew it; he knew it. To be in the arms of a man who was not your husband; in his chambers at such a late hour. If word broke out about this; the rumors would spread like a wildfire. And her name would be raked through the mud; she nuzzles into her beloved with a small smile. Even if word got out; she would never stop loving this man. "Yes, if we do not allow slumber to consume us. We can stay in this moment till dawn. Oh Leon, can we talk about our future? We have not even discuss the possibility of children. I know, I am being forward. But I want to talk about it. To know your thoughts; to know your dreams and to know if we share the same heart and mind." she whispers looking up to him lost within his sapphires gems. One day, this room would be not just his. But hers, theirs. This estate would become her home the night of their wedding; the thought made her cheeks flush gently. Would their estate become filled little ones? How many would they have? Two sons, three? Maybe two little girls in addition? A big family? She liked the sound of it, giving Leon a bunch of little ones to fond over. To chase after. She felt her smile grow; yes she wanted that. She dreamed of it.

The young brunette closes her eyes gently as she remained close to her beloved; she adored him so much. Life without him; the thought was daunting and frightened her greatly. She could only imagined how it would be if he was called away to war. Would she be widowed before she even married? Would they even marry before he left? What would they decide? She would pray for Leon's safe return; she would always pray for her beloved Leon.  "L-Leon.... When do you wish to marry before the possible holy wars? Or do you wish to marry after your safe return? I would like us to make a decision." She whispers twirling a dark lock as she began to think about it; she frowns lowering her gaze as she began to think about the possibilities that he may be lost to war. She did not want that for him.

--------

Her emeralds reflected in his forest green hues with her blonde brows furrowing; his words did cause for alarm with as she purses her lips. He was seeking for a way where knights like her to survive battle. If he could master such a feat; he'd be branded a hero. Many would come to him for the spell or whatever means it was to gain such a power. He'd be offered handsome sums for this knowledge. "Aleksander.... I have never heard such a method. I will not condemn you for this. I have no reason to you, your heart has the best of intentions." She exhales to him placing her forehead against his with a smile coming to her lips. "You're such a good person Aleksander, you amaze me. How far have you gotten in your little research?" she inquires softly; even now he still continued to amaze her.

PostSubject: Re: CV: The Dark Crusades.    CV: The Dark Crusades. - Page 2 EmptySat Feb 18, 2017 1:24 pm

Leon let out a gentle, contented sigh. Sara being this close to him made his heart race slightly and he did everything in his mental powers to keep himself from nodding off in her embrace. He frowned at her questions. He did want a large family with her, with boys of course, but Leon could so clearly picture in his mind being highly judging of potential suitors for if had daughters. a small chuckle escaped his lips, "Oh, my love..." he started, thinking of training his sons and pampering his daughters, "It is quite forward to discuss these things when we still have yet to set a date for our wedding. But... Yes... I want to have a family with you. If you'll forgive my own forward words, I would love to have a larger sized family, of sons AND daughters...." The frown returned to his lips at her second set of questions. She knew how to find her way to the deepest parts of his thoughts, even without realizing it. Since these thoughts invaded his mind so fervently during his own closest and most trusted friend's wedding, the fear of his dying while away flooded back into his heart. He wouldn't even be able to think what Sara's life would be like, widowed because of his position. The wars had terrified him. They were nearing ever closer with every passing day. It would only be a matter of time before the church would call upon knights to continue God's word through the barbaric east. And Leon's title as Lord and Holy Knight would put him towards the top of their lists. He wished he were allowed to refuse such orders. But his title had become so entangled with his skilled fighting prowess that one could not exist without the other. "S-Sara.... If you would allow it, I will join in a short campaign if I'm to be called upon. We have only recently affianced, and it is still far too close to Mathias' marriage for ours to occur. I believe God will show us the opportune time to marry, as he works to grant his most loyal children happiness when they have proven their faith to him." He let his hands rest gently around her waist, knowing that his actions teetered dangerously on the line between proper and scandalous. He prayed God would not call him to test his faith, especially since the heretics in the east cared nothing for God and his decrees.

god it's hard to write this religious stuff since i'm not like AT ALL

--------
Aleksander's face lit up with his smile widening, "Thank you... Miriam... I fear however that, despite my efforts, I have found no soluble way to even test my research. I cannot trust people to not make word of my research too quickly, and the town would realize if any large amount of animals suddenly disappeared. And I couldn't believe Lord Cronqvist would be happy if I had to bury anything around the estate." He said, his smile fading with each word. He had reached a standstill on his alchemic process, since he couldn't even make certain if it were moving to the correct direction. He turned his head back to the desk with his eyes glaring slightly at the pieces of reptiles and bottles of serums and potions littering the expanse of the wooden table. "I was hoping to have something solid by the time those terrible battles raged through here. If I could create a way to heal wounds immediately and tend to illness, then perhaps... I'd be closer to creating..." he trails with a whisper. He could trust Miriam. Even with mentioning the potential outcome of his research. If he could find a way to tend to the casualties of life, He would be one step closer to extending human life. He would able to formulate the rumored masterpiece of an alchemist's work. The Philosopher's Stone. A way to become immortal, even if it seemed that defied God's will. He would most definitely be able to prove himself worthy to Lord Cronqvist. He wanted nothing more, even if it meant delving into the earth's most forbidden darkness.

----------
Elisabetha's mind clouded with pleasure as she brought her arms to rest on her husband's shoulders, her fingers gripping the ends of his hair's black tendrils. She hoped to not hurt him, as her body's instincts took over. She had such little idea what to do, since before this night, she had been a virgin in body and mind. She loved him, more than words could ever say. She wanted eternity with him, their souls linked even past death. She knew such things were impossible, but her mind wished and prayed for it. Through her moans and gasps, she tried to speak her declaration of love, finding it hard to form words on her tongue.

It wasn't long before the young pair fell asleep in one another's arms; the two were now embraced in one another's warmth. The dreams of one another and a future would caress their minds. Sara now laid in his arms dreaming only of tomorrow and their future. A sweet smile remains on the young woman's face as she laid there within his embrace.

Miriam gently began to run her fingers through his dark locks; she listened to each of his words with a small frown. She knew he wanted more; he had hit that wall. She wanted to aid him in any way; but would he allow her to. "Aleksander, lay your research onto me. Let me be your means for answers. I will test it out for you; I will be anything you need me to be. Aleksander, I will be your anchor." she whispers softly to him offering him a smile; she would do this for him. She would test it out; she would be anything. She thumbed his cheek gently as she tilts his chin back; she makes him look into her deep green hues with a smile. "I will be your ground; together Aleksander we will pave a new world. Your intelligent mind and generous heart will be the strength this world needs. You're destined for greatness." she sighs out to him; she adored him. She would remain loyal to him; she was just as loyal to him as she was she was to Lord Cronqvist. She would always be here for him. Always.

Aleksander looked at Miriam with wide eyes, "Do you mean what you say??" He says in awe, as some color came to his face. Did he dare to assume, based on her words, that Miriam had feelings back for him? He would have to be ensure that he could impress his lord enough to grant his blessing. Aleksander wanted her to be his, he knew this in his heart. "Thank you, Miriam. I will take you on your offer. It means so much to hear you say those things..."

this is getting hard for me Sad why must rping be so hard for me T^T

PostSubject: Re: CV: The Dark Crusades.    CV: The Dark Crusades. - Page 2 EmptyMon Feb 20, 2017 9:30 pm

Two Months later.
Midday.

Seeping through the closed windows of the Trantoul manor the sun's rays kissed at the cheeks of young brunette who sat by the windowsill; she winced slightly as the needle pierced her index finger. Sewing and stitching could be such a hassle. Her cerulean hues looked at the red liquid as it seeped from the small wound. Why was blood red? She wondered to herself as her eyes studied it slightly. The young female was feeling unlike herself these days; she places her index finger to her lips as she sucked on her finger. Her eyes swift back down to her stitching; she had been trying sew a new coat for Leon. She releases a partial sigh as she runs her fingers through her locks; she was wishing Leon was at her side now. He had been called away to the border of Wallachia; something about there being a spread of shamanistic faith. She feared that this supposed spread of Shamanism would lead only further into the crusades. And Leon was getting already interlocked with it; she places her hand to her chest as she caresses the coat on her lap. It was a fine white with crimson lining all along it; it was like flames ascending to the collar. The back of the coat was slit to allow free movement; she runs her fingers over the rhinestones she had incorporated onto the gift. She was hoping to give this to him as an early wedding gift.

The door to her bedroom swung open as her father swept inside; she lifts her gaze gently placing Leon's gift down in her spot
. "Yes, father?" She exhales speaking to him before she was even spoken to. "My dear Sara; I must ask something of you." He says softly to her as she tilts her head to the right innocently. But she nods in compliance to his words. "Yes, father what is it?" She inquires curiously wondering if it was important or a simple task. "I need you to head into town for me." He says handing her a letter as he looks around for a moment. Sara felt a brow quiver in mild curiosity; his behavior was odd and mildly unsettling. Was something the matter? She wished he would be more descriptive to her. "You are to give this to a man by the name of Rinaldo." He whispers to her in a secretive manner as if something could occur. "He will be at the tavern." He exhales; her eyes widened shocked at his words. He wanted her to go to the tavern unescorted!  How scandalous. She nods in a moment silence before clearing her throat. "How do I Know who is Rinaldo?" She inquires looking up to him as he shifted his gaze. "He will be adorned in a cloak." He whispers and with that he departs from the bedroom leaving the young maiden with the letter in her hands; she blinks a few times before approaching and gathering a cloak for herself. It was a lovely indigo and she purses her lips trying to reassure herself. It was for her father after all. Her father would never dabble into such things.

------

Emeralds twist about naturally as the young knight stood amongst the crowd at the marketplace; Miriam was mildly displeased with her new position as Elisabetha's escort and protector for Lord Cronqvist. But he had personally requested this of her; and she of course would never disobey or refuse such requests. She releases a sigh as she purses her lips for a moment before rubbing at the back of her neck; she glances over to the young Lady taking her in as she knelt before a starving child offering it a loaf of bread she had just purchased. The Lady had such kindness in her heart; surely she would have been decreed a saint for such acts. For possessing such a pure and kind heart; Miriam couldn't help but reflect on her own life. She had been in that very spot the child was in now; living on the street among criminals, filth and poverty. Having to be forced to rely on one's self and any generosity of another. Generosity that rarely ever came for her when she was a child. She recalled vividly the one time she had asked a lord for food or money for food. He had taken his cane and whacked her to the ground; violently beat her with his stick calling her filth and scum. Decreeing her life to be worthless and unwanted; a hindrance to the world and to never approach him again.

Averting her gaze she twined her arms around her waist embracing herself as she found loathing within herself. She hated what God had dealt her in her early years; why had he condemn her to such a hard lot at such a tender age. Wasn't god suppose to fair and just to all of his children? She felt her lips purse as she grew in mild un-comfort she wished she could be blind to all that was around her.  The world in which she lived was not at all a fair and kind one; the only thing she did have to be grateful for was Aleksander. She adored the man to no end; she closes her eyes shaking her head her blonde locks bouncing. No, she had more than just Aleksander. Lord Cronqvist had presented her with a new life; he had seen something in her. Something of worth. Something he felt could be an asset to the Cronqvist household; she too herself wondered what that something was. He never openly told her what he saw in her; but it burned in her chest with a hunger. Perhaps if she met that something; he'd tell her what he saw in her that fateful day years ago. Her gaze shifts back to where the young lady was; she was standing now and approaching the young knight with that smile on her face. "Lady Cronqvist. Are you enjoying your time in the town? I know you were saddened that Lord Cronqvist could not spend the day with you like he promised." She sighs softly approaching the lady of the house. Mathias had originally promised to spend time with his beloved; that was until Aleksander had hit a breakthrough or something in his research? Either way Lord Mathias was no with Aleksander discussing the research that Aleksander had confided in her about.
------

Pale hands twined themselves together as they stretched behind the silver haired male's back; he releases a yawn as he glances around the small town on the border of Wallachia. He glances down to the 'adolescent' who wore a small scowl on his face as he was walking between him and another. "Awe, Aaron. Whatever is the matter~? You seem so irate, did something happen? Did you foresee something?" He purrs with that fanged grin glistening; his ruby hues gleamed with possible excitement of the young vampire seeing something. The boy was so fascinating; ever since Seraph had met him forty some years ago. He paused his walking when he noted a young blonde knight in the distance; blondes. Oh how Seraph enjoyed blondes; he couldn't help but eye over the young knight for a moment. "Mmm~ How delicious he looks." He exhales he could feel the hunger rise in him; in more ways than one that he could assure you. Yet he couldn't help but wonder if the man was a crusader; a brow rises in mild intrigue before he forced his attention back to his brethren. "That young man; there is something about him. Don't you agree~?" He purrs to them trying tot get their attention onto the knight.

Elisabetha looked up from her position with a frown, "I am. I like the idea of doing some good around the town, especially since Mathias is doing so much for people himself. I like to think if I can at least make a difference in someone's life then they can grow up to make a difference in someone else's life... And I know that Mathias is very busy. We spend as much time that can be alloted, and I treasure every second we can have together. Sadly, even for me, I know those moments are fleeting. And I know Aleksander has been vying for my beloved's attention as much as possible with whatever he has been working on. It's very nice to see someone who has such a love for knowledge like that. It gives me such a hope for people's futures." She said with a small smile forming on her lips. She understood these kinds of things were important to them, even if she had not a clue what they were discussing other than it had to do with some sort of research.
-------

The young Vampire's Crimson eyes glanced over the Belmont with a mild bit of disdain. He had only been turned about 40 years before, for the young man's abilities of foresight. Thankfully for Aaron, those powers still remained, so he still proved himself useful to his tutors. A slight distant look filled his eyes as he focused his powers on the Belmont and was shocked enough that he stumbled in his walk slightly. Thankfully, the other vampire caught his arm before he fell in either direction. "That man and his blood will be a danger to us." He gasps out barely above a whisper. He looks up at Seraph with an almost grimace, "Seraph. I highly suggest you stay away from him." Worry filled his voice. That man would help in creating a weapon powerful enough to combat even the strongest vampires. And Seraph and his brother were the closest things to a family he's had for a very long time.
--------

The other vampire looked down at the boy he had caught. It must have been some vision if the boy had almost collapsed. He sighed slightly and looked at his brother, "Leave him, Seraph. I know you haven't had much chance to fill your sexual needs, but I don't think now is the wisest of times. And on a side note, he looks a little older than your preferred type anyway. Or is the fact that he's got that "Blonde hair-Blue eyed" thing you prefer, you can look past the point he looks to be almost 7 years past your 'type'" he says a slight smirk coming to his lips, with his one pearly white fang glistening slightly. Cezarian much more preferred the fairer sex to feed from, and he had no taste for men in the way Seraph did.
----------

Leon's stomach turned as he walked through the field. His one hand fell to the hilt of his sword while the other gripped his abdomen as he almost doubled over in pain. What was this feeling from? This time he knew that he hadn't had any alcohol or any food that would have disagreed with him. Perhaps, even the few months ago, the last time he had that feeling was when he saw that odd stranger dancing with his beloved Sara. What could it mean? Perhaps he would have to check with a doctor when he returned from solving the problems in the area.

PostSubject: Re: CV: The Dark Crusades.    CV: The Dark Crusades. - Page 2 EmptyMon Feb 27, 2017 12:41 am

She could hear the loud music and cheer from within the tavern walls; the young brunette felt mildly uneasy entering a place she had never even thought of going to. She stares at the wooden door for a long moment with her lips pursed as she tried to find the confidence she needed to deliver the letter to this mystery man. She could smell the alcohol emanating from within; it was so strong she felt like she would be come ill from it. Her hand places itself upon the wood before pushing it open and slipping inside; her cerulean eyes took in the sights of men drinking heavily. They threw down their cups roughly against the wood hollering for more of their beverage; other men wrestled with another. There were women on the laps of men in rather promiscuous ways; she wanted to run. To turn and flee to the church where she would pray to the lord for the things she was witnessing in the tavern; such things. Greed; gluttony; and lust. All the sins danced within this unholy place; she felt her brows knit together as she maneuvered her way through the place. She was looking for a man; a man by the name of Rinaldo? How would she know it was him? Her father said he would be in a cloak; but what if he had removed it? What then? She continued to look around for a moment; but a yelp escaped her lips as she felt a hand grope her on her rear!

She spun around so fast her hood fell off her head revealing her features; she looks into the lustful eyes of a stranger who was in a drunken stupor. He was a tall man with broad shoulders and was adorned in scars; perhaps he was a fallen knight? Or a heathen.... There were two short daggers at his sides as she looked into his gray eyes; his teeth were yellow and well chipped too. Wasn't a attractive fellow. His whole appearance made the young noblewoman uneasy. "Well, well~ What a perrty lil thing you are, what ya say you come to my quarters~" He purrs out to her as he steps closer to her; she places a hand to her chest stepping back into the end of an table. "N-No thank you sir; I am betrothed...." She shudders out to him; she felt like a meek little mouse in the claws of a cat. She wanted to flee; every fiber in her body screamed for her to flea. He cackled in amusement as he grabbed hold of her hips and pulled her close to him. "Your betrothed doesn't.... have to know our *hiccups* little secret sweet miss" he chuckles into her ear as she turns her head instinctively. There came a wheeze from the man as he was suddenly pulled back from her; she glances back to see a man with tan skin tugging on the leather whip wrapped around the man's neck.

"You leave this maiden alone; or I will kill you now."he whispers in a hush and stern voice; it was a low command which got the drunkard nodding in mild fear as he staggered away as fast as he could from the pair. Sara's eyes twist to take in the hooded man who drew back his cloak; he had graying hair pulled into two braids falling over his shoulders. He was tan skinned and his eyes were a blue hazel. "Miss Trantoul?" He whispers; she nodded warily clutching the letter in her other hand. "A-Are you Rinaldo?" She inquires oh how she wanted Leon to be at her side right about now; he nodded offering her a reassuring smile. "My humblest apologies that your father sent you to visit me on such short notice." Sara shook her head before handing over the letter to him; she wanted to get out of the tavern as fast as she could. "I-It's alright. Here is the letter he asked me to give you." she replies softly for a moment still uncertain about all of this. Rinaldo took it into his hands before sliding it into his satchel; he looks her over for a moment with a frown pursing his lips. She had that same innocence she was had; his dearest daughter. "Do you wish me to escort you home." He whispers; Sara shook her head before backing up, she turns to leave when he snatches her by the wrist she looks to him with her bright gems. "Miss; I want to give you this." He whispers before holding up a pendant with a tear drop stone at its end.

Sara was taken back by the gesture as her hand rises to its resting spot over her heart; why was he offering her such a thing? Should she dare even accept a gift from a stranger? A man she did not know? But her father, he knew this man. And entrusted her to deliver a letter of great importance to him. Perhaps it would be alright; it was so beautiful but it held this calming serenity about it. "You want me to have this? Why?" she inquires softly reaching out to take it from him. "It shall protect you from harm my darling. But you must wear it at all times." he says to her; she was intrigued and alarmed by his words before offering him a sweet smile as she took the lapis lazuli necklace from him. ""Thank you, I appreciate it. But now I must take my leave; I do not want to be here a moment longer" she says to the man before slipping away and out of the tavern as quickly as possible.

Rinaldo pauses for a moment with a frown as he glances both directions before opening the letter and reading its contents.

The Faren Clan,
the clan has long since fallen from what it use to be. A once proud clan full of holiness and could be entrusted with many secrets and artifacts, but alas about a century or so ago young knight Adrien Faren was placed with the protection of the once valuable alchemy stone. The crimson stone. On his mission he encountered a powerful vampire who defeated him in battle; and stole the stone before stealing away Adrien's beloved. The events that occurred afterwards are full of speculations and the truth has been lost or distorted.

Rinaldo ran a hand over his chin thinking over the information carefully; so the crimson stone the failed attempt at the philosopher's stone. It had been in the possession of a young knight by the name of Adrien Fahren; Lord Trantoul's daughter was good friends with the newly wedded Lady Cronqvist. She was a descendant of this man that had been entrusted to protect this stone; and her husband was an alchemist himself. He thought he had sensed Walter's presence in this town; was Walter searching for his missing stone? If that were the case Rinaldo had to ensure the vampire would not find it; one way or another. But the girl, Sara. He feared something, he feared the worse for her. Something about her made him worry for her safety. Rinaldo shook his head for a moment before turning on his heel and departing instantly, slipping out of the tavern as fast as he could.

Brown hazel hues watched the man depart from the tavern as Bruno's hand remained on his hilt; what had he just witnessed? Should he feel alarm? Perhaps he should inform Lord Cronqvist about what he had just seen.
------

The elder blonde looks down to the young lady with her deep green hues; a small smile creases to her lips as she tucks back a lock behind her ear. The lord adored this woman with every fiber of his being; she could see why too. Elisabetha was an angel blessed to the Cronqvist family; she releases an inaudible sigh. "My lady, you are the sweetest woman. And my lord loves you than more than life itself. I can recall the first day he spoke of you. Spoke of being in love. His face had lit up like the sun. He had approached me even; he had said to me. Miriam; I have found her. My heartsong had began for the first time today; I know what it means now. I must win her heart. Help me~" she giggles out to the young woman as she led the lady down the path; she pauses in her movements when she noted the angry shouting by the town's square. She felt a frown purse her lips as she looks to Elisabetha for a moment.

She had a sinking feeling in the pit of stomach; she only had a few guesses as what was occurring in the town now. She felt she should lead the Lady away and back home before the lady witnessed anything horrible. Gently she places her hand onto Elisabetha's shoulder as she tried to peer over the shoulders of the gathering crowd; she could make it now barely. A young woman was crying and pleading for her life as men pulled her through the street bound by rope; in the center a stake was being formed. Miriam's features took a grim turn as she inhales softly for a moment. "Milady, I must return you home before you see such cruelty" she exhales as she tries to lead the lady away. "Please! Oh please! Won't someone listen to me?! I am not a witch! I am not!" the young lady cries as she fights against her binds and her accusers. Was she really to die in such a cruel way? The young woman then spotted the pair in the distance; she noted Elisabetha's clothing. A noblewoman; perhaps. Perhaps she would come to her rescue? "You there! Milady! Please, I beg thee! Help me!" she cries out to the woman trying to get Elisabetha's attention; she was struck down by the fist of one of the men. "Silence witch! No one here will come to your aid! You are being charged with witchcraft!" he shouted spitting in her face as he kicked her in the stomach; her ivory locks fell over her shoulders as she toppled forward.

Tears stung the woman's eyes as she curled into herself from the pain; she could not believe this was happening to her. She had done no wrong; she had healed that child of his injury. She couldn't let him die. But when he returned him home; his father the bastard. He had tried to make advances on her while his wife laid ill a few rooms away; she refused him and he then reached out to the authorities declaring her a witch. And now she was facing this cruelty. "Please! Milady! I beg you, help me. Help me I will give you my services!" she cries out through her sobs as she was dragged back to her feet was now being tied to the stake; Miriam's features were now that of a pained grimace. 'If you save me from the Pyre, my descendant will be loyal to you and your family.' she thinks to herself as the tears begin to trickle down her pale cheeks as her frost hues looked to the pair beyond the crowd. She did not wish to die; all because she rejected a man's advances.
------

Seraph releases a frustrated growl listening to both the male's words and advising against his approaching the young holy knight. But he couldn't help himself; he wanted to test something though. With the click of his heels he approaches Leon and offers him a carefree smile. "Away from home soldier?" he inquires curiously with a brow lifting as he places a hand upon his hip. This man and his blood would be a danger to him and his race? What on earth could Aaron mean by that? He could only wonder as he looked into the blue hues of Leon's. He could tell he was not of this area.

CV: The Dark Crusades. - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: CV: The Dark Crusades.    CV: The Dark Crusades. - Page 2 EmptyMon Feb 27, 2017 5:24 pm

Aleksander came down the stairs quietly with a covered basket filled with an array of herbs and other such ingredients when he came to a stop at the base of the steps. Lord Cronqvist was looking over his notes. Aleksander muttered a quiet prayer, hoping that his Lord was not eyeing the notes of the life-saving elixir he was having Miriam help him with. It was supposed to be a surprise for Lord Cronqvist, and would only be revealed to the master Alchemist when Aleksander knew it would not cause harm to it’s user.

That single thought flooded his mind, moreso than his worry about his Lord’s scolding. He wasn’t quite sure that it wouldn’t end up causing some sort of harm to Miriam, since she had been his volunteer test subject. He had very little knowledge of medical things and could only imagine what he would have to explain to Lord Cronqvist if his serum made someone fall bitterly ill. He would have to focus on making it perfect. So it wouldn’t risk harm to his secret lover, or eventually whatever knight Lord Cronqvist wished it be given to. Lord Belmont, mayhaps? The two Lords were the closest of friends and Lord Belmont was always more of a person for the front lines than the much more intelligent Lord Cronqvist.

Aleksander tried to stifle his breathe. Perhaps he could quietly sneak back upstairs and avoid a confrontation with his Lord altogether? That would be cowardly, and even Miriam would scold him for that unnecessary behavior. He WAS the young man’s teacher, after all…… But what if Lord Cronqvist saw Aleksander’s serum as an act against God’s will? His Lord was one of the most devout men Aleksander had ever met, rivalled only by Lord Belmont himself. If Lord Cronqvist thought Aleksander’s work as renouncing The Almighty Father Himself, would he end up giving the orders for Aleksander to immediately cease his research?

The young man’s fervent thoughts caused his head to spin slightly, and he let out an audible sigh. Might as well face the punishment now and accept it, then risk evading his Lord for however long until his Lord would have servants fetch Aleksander. “M-my Lord?” he says a slight shake to his voice. He had seen firsthand how terrifying and cold his Lord could be if his anger was riled. And Aleksander most definitely did NOT want to be on the receiving end of it.

------------------------------------

Elisabetha looked down at the sobbing woman with concern and fear plastered on her face. This possibly innocent woman was begging her for help. To save her from those infernal pyres of the new craze through Europe. Put quite simply, Elisabetha was horrified of the idea, innocent women who obviously would have no knowledge of the devil-crafts, being hung from a cross and burned, most often for the sins of others. If she could save even this single woman’s life, then she’ll have done the most good in God’s eyes.

With her best attempt to harden her normally gentle face, she took her shuddering hands to lift her dress. “Miriam. I beg of you, please help me in saving this poor woman. Give me the strength I so lack to save this woman from the hellfires.” she said her voice shaking slightly as she tried to harden even that. Without waiting for Miriam’s response, she moved towards the mob forming. She had no idea how she was going to save this woman… She would try channeling her beloved husband’s charm and sense of command and do what she could to save this woman.

“By the order of Lady Cronqvist, I command that you release that young woman immediately!” She demanded as loudly as her voice could muster, hoping that the absolute fear she felt in her core didn’t reflect in her voice, “If you wish to burn this woman, see first if she can enter the hallowed grounds of a church! You all must already know, monsters of Hell cannot enter the sanctuary of a church. If this young woman can on her own two feet, then she is not a witch. Whatever crime she may have committed, I will PERSONALLY ensure my Husband, The Great Lord Cronqvist, sees to whatever punishment would be most necessary. If you burn this woman now, it will be seen as a crime against some of the most pious of God!” She strode up to the men tying the woman up, “Release her to me and my guard and watch as she is proven to be as devout as the rest of us.” she ordered as coldly as she could. It was very difficult for a woman of her nature to try and emulate her husband’s mannerisms, but she hoped that it worked. Even though she was a woman, she WAS a woman of high birth and even higher title.

----------------------------------

Leon moved back instinctively from the silver haired man and drew his sword from it’s sheath, “What manner of hell-beast are you, creature?!” he demanded, stepping into a battle stance, “Are you the heretics spreading false religion?! If you are, then I’ll have to cut you down where you stand. If not, then you must move out of my path.”
